The Role
We are seeking a Head of Platform Operations to lead the execution, coordination, and continuous delivery of the Ephapsys SDK and platform.
This is a VP-level scope role in a founding-stage environment, responsible for translating research innovation into shipping, measurable platform outcomes.
You will work directly with the Founder and Staff Research Engineers to drive roadmap execution, define KPIs, ensure enterprise readiness, and establish disciplined delivery processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Delivery
- Own the roadmap, release cadence, and milestone planning for the Ephapsys SDK and platform
- Translate research breakthroughs into structured delivery milestones
- Drive quarterly OKRs and measurable execution KPIs
- Ensure continuous integration and deployment discipline across the platform
- Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies
Research-to-Product Translation
- Partner with Staff Research Engineers to operationalize neural architecture innovations
- Define production-readiness criteria for new model operators and agents
- Establish benchmarking and validation frameworks tied to business outcomes
- Align experimentation with strategic product priorities
Enterprise Readiness & Developer Experience
- Elevate SDK documentation, versioning, and developer onboarding standards
- Define secure SDLC practices aligned with enterprise expectations
- Collaborate on SOC2-aligned operational processes
- Engage with enterprise customers and partners to understand deployment requirements
Operational Excellence
- Build lightweight but rigorous governance and execution frameworks
- Improve cross-functional alignment across research and engineering
- Track adoption, performance benchmarks, reliability metrics, and deployment success rates
- Establish scalable processes suitable for growth-stage expansion
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of experience in technical program management, platform delivery, or engineering leadership
- Background in AI and/or cybersecurity companies
- Experience driving cross-functional execution across research and engineering teams
- Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices
- Demonstrated ability to define and drive KPIs tied to product and platform success
- Experience interfacing with enterprise customers and developer ecosystems
Preferred
- Experience in high-growth AI or cybersecurity organizations
- Familiarity with ML platforms, SDK distribution, and continuous deployment models
- Experience scaling platform organizations from early stage to growth stage
- Technical literacy sufficient to engage deeply with neural architecture and AI system design
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 3-6 months, you will have established a disciplined delivery cadence for the Ephapsys SDK, aligned research milestones with platform releases, improved enterprise readiness posture, and implemented measurable KPIs demonstrating execution maturity and platform adoption growth.
